Then without these Adsense mistakes, you should be able to see an increase in your Adsense profits.

Ensure that you are always in compliance with all Google Adsense Terms And Conditions
This is probably the number one Adsense mistake that most people make. Google carefully and completed outlined its Adsense Terms and Conditions. They required you to acknowledge that you read them and that you understood them. So you can not blame Google if they hold you to the letter of these rules.

You especially need to pay close attention to the several restrictions that are placed on "Adsense for Search" and also "Adsense for Content" codes. You should also routinely check back with the terms and conditions to make sure they have not changed and that you now are committing an Adsense mistake by being in violation of the rules.

The current policy from Google concerning Ad placement require that:

  • You may have only have up to three ad units on each Web site page.

  • You are limited to a maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes per page.

  • You are allowed one additional single link unit on each Web site page. This is in addition to the ad units and search boxes specified above.

  • You may place a single referral button per product on a page up to a maximum of 4 buttons. These buttons are in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.

  • Google ad may not be placed on any pages that do not have content.

  • Google ad or Google search box can not be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email.

  • Google ad cannot be placed on pages which sole purpose it to show ads. This does not matter if there is any content on the page or not.

  • Ads must be able to be seen and read by all readers. No portion should be covered nor should the color or text have elements that make them difficult to read.
New browser windows should not open with a Google ad is clicked.

Avoid putting ads in your product sale page
Often new business owners make the Adsense mistake of placing the Adsense ad in competition with their own products. Every web page should have one function and your sell page should be devoted to selling your products, not someone elses.

Avoid puting ads near your opt-in form
You opt-in page is to get more people to sign up for your website. Since this is the goal of the page, do not make the Adsense mistake of letting them click somewhere else and potentially lose this potential customer.
