CTRs with 1% or less needs to removed from you site. There is still a debate over whether or not CTRs cause 'smart pricing' on your site and this in not a chance that most online businesses want to be bothered with. Turn this option off for a few weeks and see if that helps your overall Adsense income rise. If it does, then you were a victim of Google Smart Pricing.

Don't cheat. Clicking on your own Adsense advertisments is considered fraud and your site could very easily be banned. If you accidently click on it while navigating through a page, its okay, but multiple clicks from the same IP address will set the warning bells ringing.
